Heather Locklear

  Heather Deen Locklear (born September 25 of 1961) is an American actress best known for her character Amanda Woodward on Melrose Place (1993-1999), for which she was awarded four consecutive Golden Globe nominations for Best Actress - Television Series Drama. In addition, she is famous for her performance in Dynasty's Sammy Jo Carrington role (1981-1989) and was her first major television role. It also started a long-lasting collaboration with producer Aaron Spelling.



 Other notable TV roles include officers Stacy Sheridan on T. J. Hooker (1982-1986) and Caitlin Moore in Spin City (1999-2002), in which she won two additional Golden Globe nominations, this time for Best Actress - Television Series Musical or Comedy. She was a regular character in the TV Land sitcom Hot in Cleveland and a main role on the TNT drama-comedy series Franklin and Bash in 2013. Her film roles include: the science-fiction thriller Firestarter (1984), Money Talks (1997) and Looney Tunes: Back in Action ((2003)).
