Heather Nauert

 Heather Ann Nauert was born January 27 in 1970. She is an American broadcast journalist and an official from the federal government. Heather served as Spokesperson of the United States Department of State under the Donald Trump administration. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.



 



 Prior to her roles at the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration from March to October of 2018. In 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
